Since 1961, the Chaldean American Ladies of Charity (CALC) has continually assisted the needy families of the metro Detroit area. The CALC is a nonprofit charitable organization that operates with over 98% of donations going directly to the less fortunate. We focus our efforts on enhancing the lives of the people in our community. Our time and volunteer efforts are spent helping those less fortunate, encouraging our youth, providing care for our senior citizens, and maintaining our culture within the diverse community in which we live.

Attention Donors!

Please remember that furniture must be placed in your garage or front porch for pickup — drivers will not enter homes. Once the drivers arrive, they will use their judgment regarding the usability of the donated furniture. We are experiencing a high volume of calls, so your patience is appreciated — expect a window of a week or two. At this time, we are not accepting clothes, toys or suitcases.

All the kids got to go home with a bag of treats and their own pumpkin.

Dessert, a triple berry truffle donated by Kusay and Raghda Abbo, was enjoyed by the 60-plus seniors who attended.
