The major goal of the ROOTS program is to ensure that refugees and asylees receive appropriate mental health services and addresses mental health-related barriers that may delay a successful resettlement. Outreach and engagement strategies help educate refugees about the value of mental health services, as well as providing linkages to other specialized services.
